Mobile cultural infrastructure at the River Medellín, Medellín, Oct/Nov. 2011

In collaboration with El Puente Lab, platform for artistic and cultural production, Carrito Cultural has been developed as a mobile toolbox for the set of interventions along the river. It offers diverse spatial and programatic scenarios, which have aim to transform periphery character of the river through cultural inclusion. This bastardized vehicle serve both as receiver and emitter of location-based data and uses open-source mapping to visualize new cultural geographies.

Publicly accessible, open-air 1:1 showroom in the homeland of temporary use. BCTA represents incubator of vivid local temporary-use scene, in which knowledge exchange platform replace beach-bar concept. Time-based toolbox serves both as dynamic planning instrument and interface for advanced forms of participation.

Post-earthquake scenario-planning, Sichuan Area; cooperation with Tongji University Shanghai, Jan/Feb. 2009.

In post-earthquake planning procedures, ordinary real-estate logic and infrastructural investments reject new-formed needs of citizens. Balanced development without imposing final spatial outcome should involve all players of reconstruction on one table. That table, symbolically represented by a toolbox and its “ingredients”, serves as a communication device where all members are treated equally. Quality and taste of the “soup” depends on combination of “ingredients” and time management.

Bauhaus Kolleg Post-production, Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Oct. 2006-June 2007

Activation of underused spaces through annual sport event in divided city of Mostar. By accumulating temporary spatial elements 3rd neutral space is formed.  “Mostar Triathlon” uses the environmental characteristics of the city and has been produced in collaboration with local artists’ initiatives Urban Movement Mostar and OKC Abrasevic.

Scenarios for the future of Great War Island in Belgrade developed during the study-course Architecture of Scene Space . Proposed web platform had aim to actively promote last authentic birds’ habitat in Belgrade  and protect the island  from the over-scaled appetites of investors.

The project „Evolutive City—Planning for Uncertain Cities“ was a comprehensive attempt to find innovative solutions to post-war complexities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the light of temporary planning interventions. The project touches in its way upon several overlapping issues such as planning in a vague legal framework, structural changes in housing and land ownership, and various types of spatial abuse within a stringent economic and social framework. The project indirectly discusses a notion of „reconstruction,“ given the dynamics of the transitions that occurred in Bosnia and Herzegovina before, during and after the war.
