Bauhaus Kolleg UN Urbanism / 2005-2006

In collaboration with Romana Mandeganja

The project has explored the potential of temporary interventions to overcome the post war obstacles for planning development. In the case study along the central Boulevard in Mostar (former combat line), the various prototypical problems for the planning in post war condition have been analysed. Prototypical temporary strategies have been developed for the selected areas along the Boulevard. These strategies show how a temporary activation leeds to an urban stimulation and an ‘accelerated’ urbanism.
