ParaArtFormations (ParaUmetničkeFormacije, PUF) emerge in spaces of urban conflict where traditional forms of planning are not achievable due to the physical destruction, contaminated social environment and institutional weakness. Their strategic arsenal fluctuates from moderation platforms till temporary structures and artistic interventions.
ParaArtFormations combine broad range of location factors in order to develop time-based toolbox suitable for uncertain condition in which conventional development models fail to fulfill new-formed needs.
ParaArtFormations offer conceptual planning approaches for local communities and empower them through process of alternative education and new forms of participation.
After completed mission they disappear leaving tools rather then solutions.
ParaArtFormations recruit diverse professionals for particular tasks and operate through academic, cultural and activist networks.
